Angus is an excellent singer and songwriter. He sings traditional Newfoundland music which represents the provinces history and culture forming a link between the past and present. See Angus Stewart singing “Rockin’ on the Water,” a song he wrote that was recorded by Newfoundland’s Shanneyganock and debuted #1 on the world chart on Canadian iTunes. This man who lives on an Island on the southwest coast of Newfoundland is rife with sea songs and stories, both traditional and contemporary.

Matthew Hornell is a singer and a songwriter from Newfoundland and Labrador. After bursting onto the St. John’s music scene with live shows that showcased his unflagging energy, Hornell’s award-winning debut album, released in 2010, firmly established him as a vital new voice in the songwriting community of Atlantic Canada. Hornell has received four Music NL awards including Entertainer of the Year and the Rising Star Award. He has shared stages with such talented musicians as Elliott Brood, Sloan, David Francey and Brian Borcherdt and brought his songs to shows and venues all across Canada. Matt plays an array of instruments from the banjo, guitar and fiddle! He blends folk traditions with elements of rock and country.

AN ACCLAIMED COUNTRY AND BLUEGRASS GUITARIST…

Craig hails from the southwest coast of Newfoundland. Craig’s guitar playing career has spanned decades and countries. He relocated to Nashville Tennessee, where he was based for nearly eight years and toured extensively while performing regularly on stages such as the Grand Ole Opry and with other superstars such as Ricky Skaggs. While in Nashville, Young immersed himself in music, all the while racking up Canadian Country Music awards for his guitar playing. After playing music on the road for more than 15 years, he is now back home making and teaching music. He has worked with some of the best country and bluegrass artists in the world. His latest album, Don't Think Twice, is a collection of some of his favourite country and bluegrass songs. Craig recently became the director of New Wave Music. He also shares the stage with the show Anchors Aweigh.
