If driving from outside the province, you will arrive via the Ferry in Port au Basque. To access Norris Point from Port au Basque drive 345 kms (approx. 3.5 hours) drive north east on the Trans-Canada Highway (Route #1) to Deer Lake. In Deer Lake take the Viking Trail (Route #430) north for 81 kms (approx. 50 minutes) to Norris Point.
Getting to Norris Point from St. John’s head west on the TCH (Route #1), take the Viking Trail in Deer Lake and drive north 81 kms on Route 430.
PUBLIC : bus services are available thru DRL-LR.
DRL-LR provides daily motor coach service with 25 stops across the Island of Newfoundland
