Pet-Friendly Restaurant Rules
The Cat Stop Waterfront Pub is a pet-friendly restaurantย allowing patrons to eat with their dog:
- in a designated area on the outside patio accessible from the street.
- in an area marked by signage so that customers are aware of the pet designated area before they are seated.
The Cat Stop shall decide whether to allow pet dogs, limit the number of dogs or ask customers to remove their pet if it is unruly or misbehaving.
The Cat Stop adheres to strict food safety guidelines, including:
- pets will not be allowed inside the restaurant. They will only be allowed on patios that can be accessed from the street;
- dogs are not permitted to eat while at the restaurant, but they can drink water from separate bowls brought by the owner;
- pet owners must keep their dogs on the ground and away from aisles; under no circumstances, shall pets sit on chairs at the table or place paws on the table. (If you would not stand there, neither should your pets.)
- dogs shall be on a leash whenever in the dining area and shall not be tethered with a leash to a table or chair; retractable leashes should be avoided or kept short;
- dogs will not be allowed to bark excessively, beg for food, or jump on people or furniture; and
- owners must clean up any waste immediately using poop bags and dispose of waste properly.
